A village of Banaue in the province of Ifugao, Batad is famous for its amphiteater-like rice terraces, one of the five clusters of rice terraces in Ifugao that are inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list since 1995.
ITINERARY:
Day 0
2200H: ETD Manila
Day 1
0600H: ETA Banaue town proper, breakfast
0700H: Transfer to Batad jump-off point (tricycle or public jeepney)
0800H: ETA at jump-off point, short walk to the village, check-in at the inn, freshen up and rest from the ride
1300H: Trek to top view and Tappiyah Falls (you can swim there)
1700H: Return to the inn, freshen up
1800H: Dinner
Day 2
0800H: Wake-up call, breakfast
1000H: Transfer back to Banaue (tricycle or public jeepney)
1100H: Arrival in Banaue, free time (explore the town, buy souvenirs, have lunch)
1300H: ETD Banaue town proper and return to Manila
2100H: ETA Manila
