Shwedagon Pagoda




Day 1: Yangon Arrival & Sightseeing (-/L/D)
Upon arrival at airport, after luggage collection, you will be welcome by local car driver. Depending on the arrival time, these visits can be included; Downtown Area with the Old City Hall and take a stroll along Colonial Buildings ending at the old Strand Hotel, the adjacent Australian Embassy, Her Majesty British Embassy, and Red-bricked General Post Office. Lunch at Monsoon Restaurant.
In the evening, visit the most significant pagoda, Shwedagon, which the global scholars describe as One of Wonders in the World. Shwedagon plays very important role in the Old Burmese History not only standing as the holiest structure for the Buddhist all over the world. Enjoy the sunset from nearly 26-century years old Most Glorious Buddhist Shrine. Dinner at Golden Duck Restaurant.

Day 2: Yangon- Nyaung U- Bagan (B/L/D)
In the early morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan (Picnic breakfast can be arranged from your hotel!). Hundreds of Ancient Stupas, Temples, Monasteries, Libraries and Buddhist Universities welcome you to the then Heart of Buddhism. On arrival, drive to a temple to have a glimpse of Bird’s eye view tasting a bit of its marvel. Then you may visit Nyaung U morning market which is known as Market On The Floor with a variety of local vegetables and products such as typical snacks, food, Handicrafts, Thanakha the most adorned Burmese Make-up, and so on. Then, visit the most sacred stupa Shwe Zi Gon built in 11 Century by the most outstanding Buddhist King, Anawrahta, Gu Byauk Gyi Temple to see the mural from 12 Century, the massive red-colored Htilominlo Temple, and lastly before check-in at the hotel, visit the most beautiful Ananda Temple built in late 11 Century housing giant Standing Buddhas which give the viewers illusion of Smiling-or-Serious facial expression of the Enlightened One.  Lunch at Green Elephant Restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to Bagan Ayer Jetty where your boat awaits to bring you up along the Mighty Ayeyarwaddy river to visit the remote Jungle Temple of Kyauk Gu Umin built in the 12th Century. The temple is visited by a few tourists and it is locked most of the time. Only when the visitors arrive, the temple door opens by the magic key.
After an hour or more cruising upstream, your boat will stop on the eastern bank so that you can take a Jungle walk for about 15 minutes to get to the temple. Passing through the thick forest, plum trees that bear the red-yellow plum fruits, the forest lane will lead you to the temple and monastery hidden in the south of Majestic Bagan. Explore the sandstone cave adorned with the carved stone reliefs on the outside walls of temple and after that walk back to the jetty.
Float down back to Ayer Jetty and on the way, you may enjoy the sunset from the river. Dinner at Nandar Restaurant.

Day 3: Bagan Sightseeing – Mt. Popa (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Dhamayarzaka Pagoda with 5 entrances, seems like the pentagon of Bagan, and go up for the panoramic view with many temples. After that, continue to Myin Kabar village for the visit to Myin Kabar Phaya with the best mural paintings, Manuhar Pagoda and Nan Phaya. Then proceed to the Sulamani Temple which is famous for its neat and tidy brick- lying, and Dhamayankyi which is the most massive one and the pyramid of Bagan.
Then, drive (approx) one and a half hour to Mt. Popa, the extinguished million-year-old volcano. Also Popa is the abode of Myanmar Nats, the Spirits worshipped by some weak Buddhists. No wonder that the poor mind may seek the shelter under which one can feel certain of high-yield harvest, safe life. The name Popa represents the abundance of flowers and you can see seasonal flowers and fruits once you enter the small town at the foot of the extinct volcano. On the way to Mt. Popa, you may stop at a palm tree collection workshop to see the ways of living of AnyarThar people. Lunch at Yangon Restaurant.
Visit central Nat Shrine at the foothill of Mt. Popa. Going up 777 steps is optional but the view from the top makes tired-feet quite relaxing. Mount Popa houses not only Nats but also Asian monkeys along its steps uphill. Feeding the poor Gibbons, Baboons costs not much money and you may gain some merits to add a step towards Nirvana. Finally, drive back to Bagan and enjoy dinner at Eden B.B.B Restaurant.

Day 4: Bagan- Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive the airport for the flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival, proceed to the hotel for check in and then visit Kandawgyi Park to relax, and Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha image which is the biggest one in Yangon. Lunch at Green Elephant Restaurant.
Then, visit Scott Market, Bogyoke Market, which sells many Myanmar Traditional Handicrafts, namely, Pan Sai Myo, 10 kinds of flowers; Blacksmith, Goldsmith, Coppersmith, Stone Carvings, Wood Carvings, Lacquer Wares, and so on (Scott Market is off every Monday!).
Finally, take a stroll in China Town filled with road-side stalls. Dinner at Royal Thazin Restaurant.
Overnight at Yangon

Day 5: Yangon Departure (B/-/-)
Free at your leisure till the transfer to Yangon International Airport for your onward journey.

DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and  privately transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2 - AUCKLAND – ROTORUA
Farewell the 'City of Sails' as you travel south to reach the market garden area of Pukekohe. Continue through Hamilton - New Zealand's fourth largest city and the fertile Waikato region to the 'Thermal City' of Rotorua. This afternoon is at leisure. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) & Concert. (B,D)
DAY 3 - ROTORUA
Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show. This afternoon, visit Hobbiton Movie Set for a 2 hour guided tour of ‘Middle Earth’. Return to Rotorua for the evening at your leisure. (B)
DAY 4 - ROTORUA – WAITOMO – AUCKLAND
Travel over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo  Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms on the cavern roof. On  completion continue through the fertile Waikato area to reach Auckland. (B)
DAY 5 - DEPARTURE DAY

 DAY 1 - ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH
On arrival in Christchurch, ‘The Garden City’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and  privately transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2 - CHRISTCHURCH – QUEENSTOWN
Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo. Continue south to the small town of  Twizel before traveling through the historic Central Otago region to Lake Wakatipu and the ‘Alpine Resort’ of  Queenstown. (B)
DAY 3 - MILFORD SOUND
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and  travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world  famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown (B)
DAY 4 - QUEENSTOWN
A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating,  white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price. (B)
DAY 5 - QUEENSTOWN - MT COOK - CHRISTCHURCH
Travel through the Central Otago region and on to Twizel. Follow the shores of Lake Pukaki to Mt Cook or  Aoraki’, the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch. (B)
DAY 6 - DEPARTURE DAY

DAY 2 - AUCKLAND
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Auckland city including a visit to Kelly Tarltons Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter. The remainder of the day is free. (B)

DAY 3 - AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – ROTORUA
Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride followed by lunch. Continue to Rotorua this afternoon. (B,L)

DAY 4 - ROTORUA

Depart on your domestic flight from Rotorua to Christchurch (airfare is NOT included). (B)

DAY 6 - CHRISTCHURCH - MT COOK - QUEENSTOWN
Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd before continuing on to New Zealand’s highest mountain - Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown. (B)

DAY 7 - QUEENSTOWN
A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price. (B)

DAY 8 - MILFORD SOUND
